Cashing In... While Alaskans pay the price

Dan Sullivan took $300,000 in campaign cash from out-of-state corporate trawlers. Those same out-of-state corporate trawlers drag their nets through Alaskan waters, killing millions of our salmon and halibut. Sullivan is looking out for his donors – not Alaskans.

Dan Sullivan is getting rich off of the salmon farming industry. He made big money from a foreign-owned salmon farm – and was “busted for illegal sale of stocks in world’s largest farmed salmon company.”

Dan Sullivan voted for the “largest Medicaid cut in U.S. history”. Now, more than 9,000 Alaskans could lose Medicaid. This comes at a time when many Alaskans already don’t have access to health care. “Alaska already has one of the highest rates of uninsured in the country, with more than one in 10 Alaskans going without health care coverage,” the Anchorage Daily News reports.

Sullivan’s Medicaid cuts put hundreds of rural hospitals at risk of closing or cutting services. In a recent op-ed, top Alaska Republican and Independent authors stated “a village in rural Alaska might lose its sole health care clinic,” so billionaires can get another tax break.

Dan Sullivan voted to raise the price of health insurance for Alaskans. “Millions will now see their health care premiums double, triple or surge even higher…”
